We’ve been cultivating resilience since 1886, when our founders started a marine insurance company to give pioneers a safeguard against uncertainty. Today, we’re still giving our customers confidence to explore, innovate and take measured risks, secure in the knowledge they’re covered by a strong insurer.
In Australia, we work in partnership with our network of broker and distribution partners to support and protect our customers through a broad range of commercial, personal, and specialty insurance products, services and risk management solutions. We’re all about the before and after – helping our customers to protect against and prevent the ‘what ifs’ and being there to support if things go wrong.
Our purpose drives us to build resilience and enrich lives across local and global communities. Through our global disaster relief partnerships with Red Cross and Save the Children we’re investing to improve the capacity of communities to prepare, anticipate, respond and recover from disasters. Locally, our partnerships help create better futures for Australian communities.
