We'd like to assure you QBE is closely monitoring the current situation in Bali and the associated impact on our customers’ travel plans following the eruption of the Mount Raung volcano.
The Mount Raung volcano erupted at approximately 11:30pm (EST) on 2 July 2015. The volcano is approximately 150km from Denpasar airport.
The resulting ash cloud has caused flights to and from Denpasar to be affected, creating a backlog of travellers hoping to leave, or travel to, Bali.
If you are planning a trip to Bali and surrounding areas, or have already departed, this event may have an effect on your cover.
