If you’re unhappy with our NSW Workers Compensation insurance please let us know as soon as possible so we can try to fix the problem.

General complaints

For NSW and Treasury Managed Fund complaints you can get in touch by phone, email, post or fax. Please include your name, policy number, claim number and the details of your complaint.

Requesting a review of a work capacity decision

Our Internal Review Team manages all aspects of reviews relating to work capacity decisions for both NSW and Treasury Managed Fund claims.

To request a review of a work capacity decision please complete an Application to Insurer for Internal Review and send it to us:

Once we’ve received your form we’ll:

  • Confirm we’ve received your request and outline the review process (within seven days)
  • Review your request within 30 days
  • Provide you with a final decision in writing, setting out the reasons for our decision
  • Advise you of the next steps if you disagree with our decision and would like further review by WorkCover.

If you feel your complaint hasn’t been resolved, or you need extra help, you can contact WorkCover’s Customer Service Centre on 13 10 50, your union or a legal representative or the WorkCover Independent Review Office (WIRO) on 13 94 76.
