Travel claim checklist

Each claim is different, but here are the basic steps:


Before claiming, please make sure you have the following:

  • Your travel insurance policy number (except for credit card master policyholders)
  • Your contact and travel details
  • Other documentation relevant to your claim (such as medical, dental, police or airline reports and receipts for your expenses).

3 We’ll assess your claim and come back to you within 10 business days to let you know if we need any more information.
4 If we need more information to assess your claim we’ll let you know what we require.
5 We’ll let you know our decision on your claim.
6 Once your claim is finalised it will be closed.
