Credit Lines

Credit Lines’ role in the business is to maintain and protect our presence in both Lenders’ Mortgage Insurance (LMI) and Credit and Surety businesses. The team is structured to provide clear accountability across relationship management, underwriting and claims. The Credit and Surety team remain a separate end-to-end business, as part of the existing global operating model.

Personal Lines

A key part of our strategy is to build strength in our Personal Lines (PL) insurance business. To help us achieve this we have simplified and reorganised all personal / consumer products into this business unit. We will develop and maintain select Personal Lines partnerships with Financial Services and other affinity organisations and focus on CTP and Motor Trades to deliver effective, streamlined and profitable underwriting; as well as targeted and sustainable growth and profitable performance of Personal Lines products.

Risk

Risk supports the identification, monitoring and assessment of major risks and ensuring adherence to relevant regulations. The Risk team includes a dedicated risk team, capital modelling team, compliance team, government relations team, and financial crime team.

Strategy and Transformation

The Strategy and Transformation team’s role in the business is to lead the overall strategy for our division and embed the voice of customer into our strategic decision making. By bringing together the Customer Insights team, Customer Relations team and the Customer Advocacy function, we have an exciting opportunity to connect external trends and customer insights (from complaints, NPS and research), with our decision-making to improve the value and impact of our customer and partner propositions.

Additional areas within the Strategy and Transformation team include:

Data and Analytics: World class analytics and insights driven from data and research, to inform, improve and execute on three important pillars of QBE’s strategy: customer focus, strength and simplicity.

Digital and Customer Transformation: Our end-to-end Human-Centered Design (HCD) process transformation centre of excellence, delivering design and implementation of Customer Experience (CX), User Experience (UX) and partner/ customer experience to deliver improved customer and employee engagement.

Marketing: Effectively positioning QBE as the insurer of choice for our key business partners and customers through effective communication of our brand and value proposition through advertising, product campaigns, social media, content, sponsorship and events.

Transformation: Our enterprise project management office that will lead, govern, support, resource and standardise all our projects and processes to best practice, driving efficiencies, reducing waste, increasing project speed and delivering effective change.

Technology

Technology is critical to QBE’s success. It enables us to do our jobs, to manage our customers and ultimately to achieve our ambition.
