QBE Australia and New Zealand has announced the appointment of Bettina Pidcock to Chief Customer Officer, effective immediately.

Ms Pidcock moves in to the role having joined QBE as Executive General Manager, Marketing, in February 2016.

The role has been created as part of an organisational restructure to cement the work undertaken to be more customer focused.

Pat Regan, Chief Executive Officer, said Bettina will continue to build on the work she’s begun. “Bettina has done a fantastic job in bringing a persistent focus on our customers and using data to drive decisions and better outcomes.

“The creation of this role will help us stay true to the changes we want to bring about to improve our focus on delivering exceptional customer experience.”

Bettina Pidcock reinforced her passion for customers saying, “The customer needs to be at the centre of everything we do. Working closely with our partners and focusing on our customers will help us to design and deliver better solutions to meet their insurance needs."

Following this appointment, the Customer Experience team will report to Ms Pidcock. She retains responsibility for Marketing, Communications and Digital.
