New General Manager of New Zealand

QBE Australia is pleased to announce a new General Manager for New Zealand.

Bill Donovan has been appointed to the role effective 29 February 2016, bringing with him more than 40 years’ experience, with many spent in senior leadership roles across broking and underwriting. Bill has been with QBE for four years as General Manager, Distribution for New Zealand.

QBE Australia’s Executive General Manager, Intermediary Distribution, Jason Clarke, said: “I’m incredibly pleased we have filled this role from within QBE. We’re very lucky to have someone of Bill’s calibre, with such a thorough knowledge of our business and strong understanding of our customers.

“I’m confident Bill and the team will continue to find ways to leverage our global capabilities to provide our customers with new and flexible solutions.”

Bill replaces Ross Chapman who last year announced he would be retiring in April.
