Directors' OHS Duties
Online

The new national Work Health and Safety Act requires directors and officers to exercise due diligence to ensure that their organisation meets its work health and safety obligations.

The new laws require Directors and Officers to be pro active.

Previously, a director was generally only drawn into safety matters following an incident. Now, a regulator may require a director to demonstrate what they have done to exercise due diligence even where there has not been an incident or breach.

Better identify the gaps that require bridging in your business and create compliant frameworks and programs that helps keep the focus on a safe and healthy workforce.

  • A description of the new duties for directors
  • Other benefits of good OHS
  • How to fulfil the new duties
