CTP Insurance is mandatory in Queensland, and is included as part of the vehicle registration. Sometimes known as rego insurance, CTP covers you by providing compensation for other people seriously injured or killed in the event of an accident and you are the at fault driver - such as your passengers, other drivers, pedestrians, push-bike and motorcycle riders.
The Motor Accident Insurance Commission (MAIC) provides a website to review all insurer's CTP premiums.
You could be eligible for a voucher worth up to $50* in value simply by switching your CTP to QBE
If you are a new QBE CTP customer and over 30 years of age with your CTP registration due in the next 12 months, check to see if you are eligible for a reward to switch your CTP insurance to QBE.
You will also benefit from up to $1M free DriverProtect† cover when you make the switch to QBE
If you are under 30
You can still nominate QBE as your CTP provider, simply select the option that applies to you below:
* Gift card is only available to a new QBE CTP customer for their first year. It is not available to existing customers. Gift Card and DriveProtect will be sent to you after you pay your next rego to the Department of Transport and Main Roads.
† DriverProtect is only available to drivers over 30 years of age.
