CTP in New South Wales
CTP insurance is mandatory in New South Wales and is purchased at the same time as your vehicle registration. Your CTP Green Slip covers you by providing compensation for other people seriously injured or killed in the event of an accident which is your fault – such as your passengers, other drivers, pedestrians, push-bike and motorcycle riders.
New in NSW
As of 1 October 2007, CTP in NSW now covers the cost of lifetime medical care and support for everyone catastrophically injured in a motor accident, regardless of who’s at fault.
