What is Workers Compensation?

Workers Compensation is a compulsory class of insurance for all employers in all states and territories in Australia. It allows employees to be compensated for personal injuries that arise out of, or in the course of, their employment.

Electronic banking available for Victorian employers

All Victorian employers now have the option of being reimbursed for workplace injury compensation payments directly into their bank account. This provides employers with quicker access to their payments, greater efficiency and less administrative headaches.

Reimbursement payments are currently made by the Victorian WorkCover Authority via cheque and this option will still be available.

How to register
To access this direct payment option, employers can simply apply to QBE using the Direct Payments - Employers Application Form available from WorkSafe Victoria or contact QBE direct.
