In May 2010, QBE entered into an agreement with the Victorian Managed Insurance Authority to assist in managing the transition to the new government-underwritten scheme announced on 29 March 2010.

This agreement combines QBE’s existing relationships, resources and expertise within the building sector with the independence of a state-run facility.
