QBE response to Icelandic volcano
On 15 April 2010 a cloud of ash from the Icelandic volcano (Eyjafjallajokull) covered northern Europe, grounding thousands of flights.
The following advice relates to policies issued prior to 4.30pm AEST, 15 April 2010. There is no provision to claim amendment/cancellation fees due to the Icelandic Volcano for policies issued after pm AEDT on 4.30pm AEST, 15 April 2010.
Policyholders currently overseas that have directly been affected are advised to contact QBE Emergency Assistance on +61 3 8805 2800 or email omega@qbe.com
