QBE's response to Victorian fires
Our thoughts and sympathies are with all those impacted by the tragic events of the past few days.
Our first priority is for the safety of our customers and employees. QBE has teams on the ground in the affected regions supporting the Insurance Council of Australia task force and local agencies to ensure customers receive rapid and effective support.
QBE will ensure that we sympathetically and urgently meet the needs of our policyholders impacted by these events. QBE's immediate response has included:
- Streamlined claims lodgement process and immediate financial assistance to provide relief for our insureds
- Emergency temporary accommodation
- Dedicated assessors ready to assist policyholders as access to affected areas becomes available
