Australia's largest insurance firm had small beginnings. We began in 1886 in Townsville, Queensland, growing to no less than 36 agencies worldwide before Australia's Federation in 1901. Today we are a 16,000-strong global team working across 52 countries. We like to think it’s a good reflection of our entrepreneurial spirit – the kind of spirit we look for in every new member of our team.
Now, in our third century, we are still going from strength to strength, building relationships and forging new links to become Australia’s General Insurer of the Year for nine consecutive years.
